So this band that I just CAN'T stop listening to is totally ancient by todays standards. Their last albumn is from, like, 1998, so yeah--I think I was still a virgin in 1998. (No, I wasn't, but I was damn near close.) Infact, for all I know, they were recording this sucka when I was inducted into that society of manhood.
Children--if you're listening--let me tell you, it doesn't take a man to stick it in. I'm not even gonna say somehting like, "it takes a man to stick around!" Because, I think that's obvious, (and don't worry, young ones, there are plenty of reasons why even a Menche of Menches would high tail on outa there). But a man is made from so much more, what he says, what he feels, what he lets himself do, what he doesn't let himself do, and when he does something that he should do, even if he don't wanna.
Anyway, the band... man-a-LIVE was that a digression. Any way, check out this here band, , Neutral Milk Hotel. I particularly recomend the albumn Aeroplane Over the Sea. Mad props to Nelson who turned me on to them.
